BIOGRAPHY
Edlyn Gan’s journey in classical piano began at the age of seven, when she discovered a deep and lasting passion for music. Even at that young age, she recognized music’s power to shape character, discipline, and creativity—setting her on a path to pursue it as a lifelong calling.
After graduating from high school, Edlyn took a significant step forward by enrolling in the Diploma in Music Teaching program at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where she continues to refine both her musical talents and teaching abilities. Her time at NAFA has been one of tremendous growth, marked by enriching experiences as both a performer and an educator.
Under the mentorship of Mr. Benjamin Lim and Ms. Lin Yi Chun, Edlyn has deepened her technical foundation and expressive capabilities at the piano. She credits much of her artistic development to their guidance and continues to evolve as a musician through solo and collaborative performances. Passionate, disciplined, and ever-curious, Edlyn remains committed to growing as a performer and sharing the joy of music with others.
